Castle Park has one of the oldest and most beautiful carousels in America today. It is a rare Dentzel Carousel, a Menagerie-Jester Head model, that is almost 100 years old, and has 52 hand carved animals and two sleighs that are circa 1904. The animals include horses, cats, ostriches, reindeer, lions, tigers, bears, and pigs. Many ride up and down on polished brass poles. The Carousel measures 25 feet high, 52 feet across.
