Soar through the sky without an airplane or parachute on X-Flight, the Midwest's first flying coaster. This radical new ride brings Six Flags Worlds of Adventure's impressive coaster line up to TEN! X-Flight's flying odyssey begins when earth-defying thrill seekers board sleek 24-seat trains. Seated backwards four abreast and secured by space-age harnesses, thrill seekers soar up the 115-foot hill as the excitement begins to intensify. As X-Flight prepares for blast off, thrill seekers are suddenly reclined to a 30-degree angle and now face toward the sky. Then, without notice, X-Flight's train suddenly inverts into a 180-degree twist transforming the thrill seekers into thrill flyers. Gravity pulls riders snuggly against the safety harnesses as the sky immediately disappears placing them in a horizontal position as they dive straight toward the ground and through eight exhilarating inversions. Thrill flyers, virtually vertical with the ground in some segments, experience heart pounding excitement as X-Flight journeys over 3,340 feet of mangled steel while reaching racy 50 mph speeds for most of the exhilarating ride.
